Préfète Duffaut (1923–2012) Haiti, created art at the Centre d'Art and painted murals in the Cathedral of Sainte Trinité in Port-au-Prince. His style featured colorful "imaginary cities" inspired by Jacmel and included images related to Vodou. Duffaut's half-brother was the painter Pauleus Vital, and his son is the painter Jean Charles Duffaut.
